Anderson manufacturer only offering the highest quality products using only the premium teak from a legal source of Perum Perhutani, which is the Indonesian government who owned the forestry to assure that its harvested from carefully controlled plantations, established in Indonesia by the Dutch in Mid-19th century.  The Indonesian government allows the cutting of a limited number of trees each year, and ensures that an equal amount of reforestation takes place. In 1995, Due to the increasing demand for the magnificent teak hardwood, Anderson Teak with the people in Indonesia, invested lands for growing thousands trees of our own to help the government program of reforestation.  
 
We still stick with Indonesia teak for our raw material because we believe that teak grown and harvested from Indonesia is the best compare with teak from other countries like Burma, Vietnam, Malaysia, Porto Rico and other part of the world.  Teak from Indonesia has more natural oil inside which make the wood stronger, last longer and has more beautiful looks.  Due to its high natural oil content, teak is very resistant to water, rot, and insect damage.  The price is more expensive than others, but you can be assured that you will get the finest quality teak for your outdoor furniture.
